CID "Gateways Inter". Answered thinking it was someone calling about a trip to the Pacific Northwest. A man "named" Michael introduced himself as calling from Microsoft. In a heavy Indian accent, he said there was something wrong with my computer. That is when I hung up.
man with Indian accent called me about a problem with my Microsoft computer. I asked him which one. He said to go to my computer with Windows on it. I hung up.
When I answered the call, the guy said he was calling from Microsoft. Then he asked to speak to one of my parents (I am in my thirties but I sound like a twelve year old girl). I wanted to see what the scam was, so I played along and said my dad was not home. Then he asked how old I was so I said I wad 20. Then he asked again to speak to my dad and I asked him what for. He said he wanted to marry me. I responded by saying he was creepy. He then insisted on speaking to my dad about marrying me and he said he knew where I was and that we could meet. From there, the conversation went off the rails into creepy land. I hung up. I am so tired of these scams. The men that call have a strong Indian accent with basic information about you such as name and listed phone number.
