Also have a Telus cell. Received 2 calls from this # Oct 31 and today, Nov 8! They were missed calls while I was at work in the afternoon. Now I will for sure not answer this # if it calls me again! How can people get away with this?! :(
This number has been calling my cell phone every day for almost a month. I never answer the phone, and they never leave a message. For about a week they were calling twice or three times a day. This is getting ridiculous. If you try to call the number back, you are told that this number is out of service. At least that is what happened to me about 3 weeks ago when I tried.
Same thing with my cell phone, every morning I get those calls. What I did was to follow the advice I found here and put my cell in the no call list and lets see what is going to happen
I have a free app on my smart phone called Mr. Number. It will alert me to possible scam numbers and I can identify numbers as scams. Once a number is identified I have it set up to answer after one ring and then hang up.
So far it's worked beautifully. I'm just sorry I can't have it on my land line. Hope this helps.
buy a panasonic answering maching it does the very same thing picks up one ring then hangs up !! "Works awesome here i highly recommand...bought mine at best buy.
