Ted Lawson with the IRS called me today wanting to speak to my husband about a complaint against him and a lawsuit pending.  Wanted his cell number, i would not provide.  He would not talk to me even though we file jointly.  Told me they had already sent out a federal agent to my house to deliver a letter but no one was home (someone is always home).  Called back and spoke with 'Ben Johnson' claiming to be the IRS National Supervisor and only gave me his badge number (31129) after I asked for it.  Told him I was aware this was a scam & to not call any longer.  He told me I was stupid, made fun of me as I spoke, asked me for the treasury department phone number (if you work for the IRS, wouldn't you have this?  I didnt provide) & told me I would get arrested.  I reported with the Federal Trade Commission and Treasury Department.

This number is also attached to a phony IRS scam and the voice on the line sounds like they are from the nation of India. I hung up on them and they called back again within one minute.  I guess I pissed them off.  They said the IRS wouldn't send me mail because I am a women.  Boy I wish that was true, because no one in America, myself included really likes to deal with the IRS.  If hurrican's were pin point accurate, I would not care if every IRS office in America was hit with a hurrican, preferably at night when no one is there, unless of course there are some really nasty employees to the tenth power, then the hurrican can kill them too.  That wouldn't be a bad days work for a hurrican now would it?

Dennis Cooper from the IRS called and left message for my husband.  Very heavy accent that I could barely understand.  Said he  was going to jail and all of his property would be liened and wages garnished if he didn't call back immediately.  SCAM!

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
