pissed off !
This # calls me every day and just hangs up when I answer the phone and they have a recorded answer for when you call back . You can look up the address of this phone number if it pisses you off too much and also remember when your calling them back you are reaching them , it's just a recorded message on their end . Someone is going to get mad enough at all these scams and put an end to these scum suckling rodents that are too lazy to have a real job ! God calls you an abomination and you should repent and go to work earn your money like the rest of us have to ...

Do not answer callers you are not familiar with.

I commented about this number a couple of weeks ago. They just called again, called my cell number while I was driving. Their "computer repair" scam is not only a con job that takes advantage of naïve people who get trapped into spending money, but it's a productivity issue for the rest of us as well. They're stealing time from all of us while we deal with their interruptions.

I got a call this morning from a foreigner claiming he was from Microsoft.  My husband had received many of these calls over the past year.   I was prepared so after he went through his spiel I called him a #*!!.....**##* liar and hung up on him.  I hate liar and scammers and low lives trying to cheat people.

NOT Mr. Smogur, duh!
People, people, people!

Do NOT pick on that dude in Texas, or post his address, or go shooting up his house.  He is as innocent as the Paschal Lamb of all this, and was probably not even home when the usual scammers from India randomly put his number on their spam calls back to America.  I can't believe there are still people out there who STILL haven't caught on that the number on your caller ID (as well as the name field, whenever they bother to put something there) is almost always random, and has NOTHING to do with reality!

If the scammer is offering to "repair" your computer, just tell him you don't own one and that'll be the end of that.  Of course it won't be the end of your phone spam in general because you stupidly actually answered the call (rather than just see if they leave a message), telling the Big Database in Russia that there is a live human at your number.

Your best move is (1) never to answer calls that you're not expecting, but just see if they leave a message, and (2) remove yourself from the government "do-not-call" list, which is being used by everyone in India and Russia -- beyond the reach of US law -- as a "please call me" list of "live" numbers.  This worked for me.
