When I answered someone from India asked for me. I asked what it was regarding and it sounded like they said for medical compensation. I just said no thank you, but they kept trying to get me to listen. I just hung up. They called at 7:30 AM. Too early.
If you are sure they are from outside the country, see if your phone service provider will block international calls. My provider did not charge for this.This is working for me. But, if you have family out side the country, this may not work for you.

We were told years ago that the phone company couldn't do anything about international phone calls. We were slammed with a bunch of long distance charges that the phone company would not reverse because it was international in origin.
