I received a call from this number on Saturday. The caller identified as a Microsoft Tech. Unfortunately....I was one of the very vulnerable ones who let them into my computer, as it had been acting strange. After he showed me why my Norton wasn't working properly, he showed me all of these error messages on my computer. Long story short......after I refused to give them any banking information or payment of $199.95, I politely told them to have a great day, hung up the phone and turned off my computer. When I turned it back on Sunday morning, it is totally locked up. There is "no administrator", and won't let me sign on to ANYTHING! Please don't be as stupid and naïve as I was! IT IS A SCAM.....AND A VERY COSTLY ONE FOR ME!
OMG, I'm so sorry that you fell for their bullcrap!!! If it makes you feel better I just yelled at one of them for being a pos scum and trying to scam people. I went off on him the very moment he said why he was calling me. Have you gotten your computer fixed yet?
