I had legit dealings with Chase Fraud and had their direct line 800-454-8095. About 5 min after I dealt with Chase the People Support called and I missed the call but they left a message with an 800 number and left a message noting that I had just talked to Chase. I called and it rang with no answer and no machine. I then called the 800 number and Chase had no knowledge of them calling me. They asked for the caller ID info and I told them People Support 213-225-8842 and Chase Fraud had no idea who they are. I called the PS number back and got no response. They called me back about 5 min later and it was the same lady was on the phone. Chase has 2 main call centers, one in Luzon, Phillippines and one in India. I doubt any of them should have a 213 area code caller ID number. Your best bet is to call the number on the back of your card or visit your bank and have them do the calling.
on 02/04/13 I receive a letter ask to review acct activity, after talk with Chase about balance transfer and review my acct. every thing was ok.2 minutes after my call ands another call came from chase and the person
that was helping me transfer the call for the number 213-225-8842 and they ask me for my information.
When I start to give my bank acct number something clicks and I put the person in hold and call that number back. No answer. I hang up and call the Chase credit card. I told what happens and they are gain to give me a new cards. What concern me is that there is inside the bank somebody giving my information away.
