Received a phone message from a Robert Davis of the Dept. of Legal Affairs on our landline today. Said he had a important legal matter that I need to call him back asap or have my attorney call him back. What a bunch of crap. The scammers are everywhere. I will not call the number back but will report to our local police department. He had a thick accent. Like he was from india or some place similiar. These people need to get a real job.!!!! and leave us alone.
got a call from this # today, Said his name was Kris Harris, from us treasury dept. said i owed 4,500 from 2010 taxes and needed to western union him money within the hr, or an officer would be at my door to arrest me...he even included my address...he said he needed my cell number so he could walk me through the process of sending him the money once i got to the store. I hung up and reported this to the police station,giving them the number. This guy called me back and i told him that i had reported him and his # to the police and he needed to stop his money scam..he tried to deny it and then hung up
James Hattis or Harris Department of Legal Affairs called and left my parents a threatening msg yesterday on their landline. I have not lived there in a very long time! This scammer told them this was my legal notice, ([***]; incorrect process) and I should retain a lawyer to return the call to 213-259-8309. It sounded as if this James character was reading from a script. DO NOT CALL THESE SCAMMERS BACK! If you call them back their computer will flag you and they will never stop calling. Report these pos muther-funkers to your state government asap, hopefully you have a recording of their bs.
My Dad was almost tricked by how serious this person was and that they had used their name, I had to sit down with him and explain that this how scammers fish for your info. If it was legit this sob would have said Dept of Legal Affairs of____________. Also legal notice of a legal proceeding against someone must be delivered in writing as a summons or subpoena or certified mail, simply calling to put someone on notice is considered legally insufficient in America. If you are being sued or taxed you will receive a letter in the mail.

Got a message from a James Patters stating he was suggesting I hire an attorney because a legal action had been filed with my name. He stated it was a "werbal" (instead of Verbal) warning and I needed to handle it immediately. He stated he was with Legal Affairs. I gaurantee you that if anyone from Legal Affairs was filing a lawsuit against me I would receive a certified letter in the mail. Not someone calling me and telling me. Get an honest job people!
Received a call from Robert Davis From legal Affairs From I.R.S. tells me I have 3 Charges pending this is the last warning or going to arrest me at work. (I don't have a Job) HA HA Blaa Blaa Same story as the rest on here but what pisses me off called cops to report they have had complaints for more than 3 months. COME ON lets get these guys. to many People breaking the Law and getting away with it. ILLEGAL ALIENS, POLITICANS and on and on.
