I received the same referral saying healthcare position was taken but a friend needed a personal assistant. I sent my Resume it has my address and obvious info. I called the paper and going to call the cops. This was out of Long Beach WA. I believe as well they are out to get your bank info. Hackers! Report, Report!! Protect yourself people!!!! This is just crazy it was a small ad in our very small town local paper. Using the names about Jessica and Roxanne and some jingsue steel company what a scam guys.

I responded to an ad for a Personal/Administrative Assistant this morning (Saturday) when it appeared in my job search feed.  By this evening, I received information similar to what I have been reading here; the position has been filled but another individual is looking for a Personal/Admin Asst.  I was given a name and an e-mail address.  Thinking it was rather odd that I could apply for a job on a Saturday morning and receive a response by Saturday evening, I decided to do some digging.  That's when I came across this information.  While I never received a phone call from the phone number listed, I did receive information somewhat identical to what some of you have posted.  A name given to me was the same as one of the names posted here.  I appreciate you guys posting this information.  I've been regularly checking on what I thought was a reputable job search site (this is in conjunction with my local newspaper) but now I have to wonder.  I'll next reach out to the police.  Thanks again!

What happens is this.  They "hire" you and send you a large check (allegedly from a customer) which you are to deposit in your bank account and then send money somewhere by untraceable means.  The check is no good and you are stuck for the money and the bank fees.  The alternative is that they have your receive packages and then resend them.  Depending on what is in those packages, you could end up in jail for a very long time.

I am in the process of job searching and came across a position for an administrative assistant in my local news paper classified ads. It said to email your resume to [email protected]. A couple of days later I receive an email from Bill Greg stating that the position had been filed though he would like to refer me to a family friend Louis Studdan at [email protected], the same day Louis emailed me and said all off the above mentioned in other comments except that she is with Ningbo Jinitian Copper Co Group and I will get 10% for every $3,000.00 I receive in payments and that I will receive at least 2 payments a week. This sounds good for someone who is unemployed at this time. Thank you all for posting your experienced if not I could have become a victim of this SCAM! The companies that these people are using are legit companies so you think it's real. Please google names, numbers, and emails before becoming a victim. Best of luck! I hope we together can bring down the scum bucket!
