Yes very true, I forgot to mention that in my comment, the "Caller ID" from this number came up with letters and numbers listed as the "Caller ID" for this number +1 (213) 266-9256

My father-in-law got a call from this number asking for me.  He couldn't understand everything he said but remembers the mention of "criminals" and "police".

I received a call 2017/01/31 at 7:34 PM from this number asking " is alex there?" Once I answered "yes", the call dropped. I tried calling back the number, and it was busy.

I'd keep an eye out. Once they get the "yes" answer, they'll use a recording of that for other potential charges

I had the same call but I didn't say "yes", I said "this is Kevin go ahead" and they hung up.
