I just got the same call the other day. Guy told me I was having trouble withe Microsoft updates and was I in front of my computer now? haha. I told him i didn't have a computer. Haha, The way he said "You don't??" was priceless!!!!!
i got a call from that number. He told me he was a representative of microsoft and that my computer was in danger of being hacked and wanted to log onto my computer to fix the problem.. I told him my computer was just fine and I told him I would not let him log on. He warned me that it was in my best interest to have him fix the problem and if I continue to refuse to give him access, microsoft would not be responsible. I said goodbye and hung up the phone.
I got the same kinda call today. These scammers are using different numbers. I was almost taken by a similar call from a number whose id said Texas. Anyway I ask edhim not to call my number again. Somehow I know they will. IS THERE SOMEWAY TO STOP THEM besides blocking their number? THIS IS WRONG! !!
