says a case has been filed against my social security number.  can barely understand what the man says.  very persistant.  calls my cell then my work number over and over

This number 1-213-283-8557 and he said call this number again and asked for Michael Carter and i did and the guy said he left for the day and hang up on me when i said  i never used payday loan. what should i do?

Call the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) helpline at 1-877-382-4357. They are working on bringing these guys down. Let's keep the complaints rolling in and shut these scumbags down.

I have been getting these calls all day on Sunday 4-1-2012 with time senistive matererials for my lawyer. These calls continued until 845 my time. Stating I laundered money and that I took loans out and did not repay them, this was the message left on my cell voice mail. Along with being arrested. But when you call them back this number cannot take any more messages. I have no payday loans, and DO NOT HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT THAT YOU MUST HAVE FOR PAYDAY LOANS. I did find out this morning that you must call the federal trade commission in your area to give them this information so that they can add these numbers to there world wide search of these foreiners.
"Remember do not give them any info on your accounts and also tell them that your recording there calls to give to federal trade commission and also that it is being given to theno  local authorites. He used the same name Michael Clark of the Department of Legal Adjustment. No Such Company

I received 3 calls on my cell and then 2 at my work number.  He said that is name is Michael George and that he is calling with time senistive material and that he wishes me luck with not getting arrested.  Arrested for what?  I do not have any PAYDAY LOANS at all.  I told him that I contacted my Attorney General in MI and called a friend in the FBI and they are investigating.
