I got a call today from 213-285-0943, a guy with heavy Indian (Pakistani) accent asked for my name and then hung up on me...I just wanted to let people know and be aware as it sounds like a some sort of scam...
I just got a call for this number and asked for me by my full name. After I confirmed my name they hung up on me. I am suspecting something sinister .. 2132850943 phone no ..
I just got a call from 2132850943. Man with a think Middle Eastern accent asked if I was ...and used my name. When I said yes, he hung up. I am very nervous that this is some sort of scam.
They called my receptionist asking for me by name, the caller had such a thick accent she had to have him spell it. Once she figured out he was calling for me, she transferred the call to my office. The gentleman asked if i was Such and Such, i replied what can i do for you and then he hung up.
Some of the prior comments are hilarious! Kudos to the recipients for turning the tables on these schmucks! This number came up on our caller ID at work, so I immediately Google'd the number. A man with an Indian or Middle Eastern accent (and I could hear that this was a boiler room in the background) asks for one of our VP's by name-" May I speak to Peeee-t-t-t-t-t-a-a-a-h-h ********* please?". I said; "Sure! One moment please!" and then hung up on him. LOL. One guy called this morning. Caller ID showed " External Party" which shows no phone number (our phones work off our computers) . Started the too-cheerful: " Good Morning! How are you? My name is Mark James and....." CLICK. I hung up on him. Just tired of non-stop interruptions when trying to work!
