Threatening via a bot voice. Pathetic excuse for a number still operating. Got this message on 6.13.16 and again today, 12.3.16. Ridiculous that number is still in service. But we'll see "if I don't react how it will all unfold". And I didn't react. Saw how it unfolded by typing in the number to google and seeing that this number legit has the same message to everybody and couldn't give 2 [***]. Couldn't give one either
I received a very disturbing phone message from 213-289-3778, I called the number right back. I talked to someone who was at a very loud call center. He told me he was an officer and the (IRS) needed to get in touch with me, he gave me a number and stated something about me getting an attorney . And that someone would be at my door within 30 minutes. Let's just say if someone shows up I will not open my door. Please stop these types of calls . The name of the company was not mentioned on the voice mail.
Mark Gibson and Kevin Peterson called saying they were with the Dept of treasury and told me I owed 890.00 in back taxes and if I did not go to the store and buy a prepaid card with that amount on it and call them back with the card number within an hour I would be arrested, my bank account would be seized, and they would put a lien on my home. Mark gave an employee id#11578. Do not fall for this scam.
Recording, giving a case number and saying to call or have your attorney call back. "And, if you don't call back, all I can say is good luck the whole thing unfolds on you"....
