Threatening via a bot voice. Pathetic excuse for a number still operating. Got this message on 6.13.16 and again today, 12.3.16. Ridiculous that number is still in service. But we'll see "if I don't react how it will all unfold". And I didn't react. Saw how it unfolded by typing in the number to google and seeing that this number legit has the same message to everybody and couldn't give 2 [***]. Couldn't give one either
I received a message from this number with a case number advising me or my 'retained attorney of record' to call regarding a lien against me. This is an urgent matter ... Blah blah blah. I called this number and it took almost a full minute to connect to a recording with no info on the organization name. When a live body took the call, a man with an India accent can't hear me and I can't hear him from all the noise in the background. I asked what organization he was with and he replied 'the department of the internal service'. He wanted my name and zip code. I told him I didn't believe him and he replied that it wasn't his job to make me believe him. I hung up. THIS IS A MAJOR SCAM!!
A lady called, said Internal Revenue Service, that this call was about a Criminal Charges against me, case number PH 76295 and I was to call her back or have my lawyer call her at 213-289-3778. Must call back or else, the she said " Good bye" She called at 11:07 AM. Scam artist.
I, like others, received an automated voicemail instructing me or my attorney to call back (and, if I don't call back, all the automation could wish me is "good luck as the situation totally unfolds on (me.)"
