Rec'd a vague Text from 213-290-3627 6/10/13 inquiring about a vehicle for sale on Craigslist and asking if the "item" is still available. Previous web documentation indicates this person is a possible Scammer
Possible scam. Received txt from this number in regards to my boat for sale. Said they are located in Ohio and are a Drilling Engineer but due to nature of his job and current location was not able to inspect the boat but would pay me cash. Strange??? Going with my gut this is another scam!!
I also received a text about my van for sell stating she in the military and can not come to look at the van but will send some one to inspect it.fake watch out

Yep, scam. Seeing that we're all posting this in the same month confirms it. Or this person really wants a motorcycle, a car, a van, and a boat all at one time. This one's name was Barbara and said she was a Drilling Engineer. Was really insisting that she was way to busy to come pick the bike up (interesting because she wasn't too busy to have a text conversation with me where I was just trying to get at much information from her as possible) but that she'd send a hauler to pick it up and she wouldn't come herself. Said she would pay me via PayPal beforehand and then give her to location of my bike so the hauler could come pick it up (I'm not too thrilled about the possibility of someone coming to my house and murdering me and my family). She said that she is not available to see or inspect it but wants to send the money to me right away. How stupid do these people think we are? If you get a text from this line, DELETE IT.
7/10/2013 just got a text from this number stating they wanted to purchase my vehicle for sale. Definetly a scam and glad I saw these posts to confirm it was a scam. No inspection they'll just send me the money via PayPal or bank account LOL sure ill give you my bank account information. BEWARE !!!!
