This person advertised on craigslist for an administrative assistant, warehouse personnel.  Goes by the company name "Wild Safari Tours."  Offered a decent salary weekly to "ship packages overseas to orphanages."  I have now received a money order in the amount of $1450, was instructed to cash it, keep $100 and send the remaining to Manila, Philippines.  He just texted me wanting to know if I received the $ and to forward the remaining via moneygram to an individual in Manila, Philippines.  Hmmmmm?

A VERY well known scam. Take the money order to the bank. DO NOT deposit it. Give it to the bank to be examined, but here's your answer- It's a fake. The giveaway in the scam is "Moneygram". A cash wire transfer service. They are NEVER to be used for a business transaction or to send money to someone you do not personally know. What? There are no banks in Manila that he can't forward the money to? Sure there are, but it's not practical for a scammer who wants to receive untraceable cash.

"Wild Safari Tours."  .  So let us look at that name shall we?  The very name makes it sound like they are a tour company (travel agent).  So what would they have to do with orphanages?  I would take the money order and the envelope it came in to your post office and have them forward it to the postal inspectors.

If you received something in the mail.  Go down to the local post office and have the postal inspectors look at it.  Could be mail fraud.

He coincidentally has the same name, "Andrew Beck" as a well established Safari Photographer on Facebook. At first Glance it might appear as if that is him until you do the digging. Don't be fooled.
