I had almost the same thing happen to me. But he notified me by phone and I hung up cause I thought they were asking for donations. He texted back with the exact same text word for word but he used the name Detective Byron Butler. I have strung him along for 2 weeks telling him I'd pay when I got paid. Tomorrow is the date I committed to. He texted me today to remind me of my payment being due. I made fun of him for letting me play him and he never responded.
Btw he asked for my name, birthday, and the city and state. Said he looked me up to see if I was eligible for the program. If I was a sex offender, I wouldn't be eligible for the program and would go to jail.
You can attach this email to a complaint filed with the FBI at IC3, they are the cyber crimes division.
