Pretty much the same as everyone else. Claimed to be Chamber of Commerce. Confirmed Business name, address and number of employees(which they assumed an amount I had last year that was way off). No information was asked for that wasn't already public record, so I don't get what they are trying to do. Weird phone etiquette too.
If they were the Chamber when you googled the number you would have seen the chamber come up.
The chamber would have Chamber in the caller ID.
Scammer putting together a list of business that he can sell off to other scammers.
Chamber of Commerce of America. Told her to Google the number she is calling from and see all of the negative posts. This phone number is from Collier County, Florida and I wouldn't give her any information and asked she to remove my number from her calling list. Chamber of Commerce of America has a 800 #. Now reporting number to Do-Not-Call-Registry.
Same here, they confirmed address and owners name and spelling, before the spelling was confirmed she hung up, they wouldn't let us know who they actually were and when we called the number back it would hang up on us.
