Insurance scam. Report to FBI! Got a call from them about a pain cream. I'm 20 years old with no pain!! Hung up on me when I told them I didn't have pain.
This is what happens when you get something for FREE that your doctor prescribes and the Company sells your information. Apparently Century Pharmacy in Paramus, NJ sold information and as a result numerous companies are now calling and attempting to scam. They call and get the answering machine and like all telemarketers they hang up because they want to talk to a LIVE body.
I received a call from this number wanting to send me pain cream if I would just verify my insurance. When I questioned who they were and how did they get my information I was told the company is ExpressRX located in Florida. The guy didn't know how they got my information - said it just popped up on his computer so he was supposed to call me. I told them not to send me anything or bill my insurance for anything. I called my doctor, she never heard of them. I called the 2392439059 number back and ask for a supervisor. The are just fishing (my words) for people that will ok them to bill their insurance for meds or equipment that may or may not be sent to them. There was a lot of background noise, lots of people talking like a large call center. The supervisor said they receive list of people to call and he would put my number on their no-call list. I believe it's some sort of scam and am concerned about where/how they got my information.
