This person seems I know him from before his name was David Jeff Jonens now it's Eric Collins Jonens he's asked me for money this time I m not giving in he says he from London wife died 6 yrs ago I have asked others about him one lady don't know anything another he told me that she's his assistance I didn't talk to him this time last time I did he sounded India
calling our business over and over again laughing and asking for pizza. tying up our phone lines so real customers cant get through. they need to be stopped
Computer Scam artist. He / they use "Internet support ", magic -jack, Comcast etc. 888#'s and 800#'s listed as legit.
One way they get people is through the "lower" your interest rates, irs debt etc.
The other is by accidentally clicking on a support link for the service you seek from google. Beware to read the internet address or the url before you click the link or call.
If you call you get a call center in India.
They want to help you because your ISP/ wifi connection has been compromised. They will not take credit cards. They want a check so - they get on your HD, get bank, personal info etc. and........ If you send give them check (bank routing info) you are so screwed.
The number 239-300-6978 was spoofed with a bogus "Hollywood jackets.com" with picture of a non-existent website or company.
These thieves continue as a scandalous ring of telemarketing bandits with bogus credit saver, low interest rates, they use whatever they can to scam you into giving personal information. Call back and no answer, no surprise!
Next you get an offer by robo call, press the key to speak to a live person, give them your work address (the local FBI address and phone number)
Report them to your local FBI office, if enough people do this they will at least get some of the scumbags.
This is not all the same person. they are using an automated number off a Florida server. This means someone using a phone app or textme.app or something like that, will get assigned any random number when signing in to make the free call or text. you cannot call back because its just a phone server giving out any sequence of numbers to whom ever or whatever logs in first to use their services.
Simply mark the number as spam on your phone and have it blocked.... no point in chasing it down... Cheers all.
I got a call yesterday from 239/300-6977. It was a man saying that my computer was corrupt and was fixing to shut down. He needed to get into my computer to fix it for me. NO WAY. I hung up and blocked this number. Last night he called me 5 times from number 239/300-6978. I did not answer it. Please never give anyone on the phone access to your computer, your social security number or your bank acct. number. These are scammers and thieves.
