I just connected with a woman on Tinder named "Jenny" who said she resides in Queens, NY. She quickly asked for my phone number so can "continue this conversation on the phone I would like to get get to know you". She originally called from number 239-676-4133 (Florida), but didn't leave a voicemail but sent me a follow-up message to call her back at this number 239-400-0550.
Its a scam from Ghana. I believe its what I heard is called a tripod. They use an Amerian telemarketing firm to seduce people for money. The call is out of Fort Myers, Florida from a telecommunications telemarketing firm.
My mother-in-law received a call from this number and the person on the other end said it was my husband and he was having a stroke and needed immediate help. Yet he was sitting next to me. 911 was called to the house and this was a horribly cruel joke.
