I have told these people repeatedly not to call me. They are claiming to "reduce the interest rate on your credit cards". I'm not sure whether they are phishing for something or if they are attempting to secure your card numbers. It is a wireless number and therefore cannot be traced through normal channels -- unless of course you want to pay somebody to do this for you. Whatever it is is definitely isn't good.
Got this same call as already listed. I told the man (not rachel) to take me off the phone list and mentioned that I am on the Do not Call List. He said that I had to call 1-800-YOU-DUMB. Now I'm really mad!!
Got the call @ 11 AM - normally would not answer a call that shows "WIRELESS CALLER" but wanted to speak with someone and try to get number off list. After the recording, which is in and of itself illegal now under certain rules, I spoke with "Rachel" and told her that I would file civil and criminal charges if they call again. She told me that the company is Cardmember Services in Atlanta but that area code is on the southwest coast of Florida.
Called to lower my credit card interest rate when I don't even pay interest. I pay the balance monthly. I use their money for my convenience. Why can't FCC do something about this type of call?
