I just got a call from a number that started out with 000, don't remember the rest. Saying that my name was chosen to get $7,500 of free government money. They thought that I was going to give them my bank information. I know this is a scam. Told me ti call 239-935-5491. They even gave me an ID number.
This number is given to me to call back after I was approved to receive $7,500 money grant from the government. I call back and Leroy Johnson who answer the phone state he is the supervisor and is requesting to get a green dot money pack and add $250 and call back with the pack number and in just seconds I will get my money grant from the government threw Western Union or Money Grant at my convenience. I started to ask question about the company he is working and he hung up on me. I try to call back and he answer back then he hung up stated I was the wrong person. I try to call back and now they wont answer my calls. This is a SCAM
239-935-5491. Stated I had been given a grant by the IRS. They needed a bank account #, a debit or credit card # to put the funds into. When I refused to give them this information they asked me to call back and they would tell me how to pick up the money in cash. I suspect that this is one of those numbers that charges several dollars per minute if you call them. SO DON'T CALL BACK!
