Called my direct Cisco line on my work phone. Knew who I was and what my position in the company was. Thought it might be a vendor. Rattled through speech script so quickly that I realized this was a call scam.
This guy calls ALL the time and he's RUDE. Today he hung up on me. From now on, when I see this number come in, I'm picking it up and immediately hanging up. They are rude, persistent to a fault and I have told them over and over again that I will NOT give out employee names.
Caller ID read: Rehoboth BCHDE, woman with Indian accent named "Jenny" asked for my boss, said she was with B2B Team Hub or something. I asked several times because I couldn't understand her. She refused to tell me what the call was in regard to so I refused to give her to my boss who has better things to do than talk to telemarketers. We went round and round for a while then she asked for IT. Kept stonewalling until she abruptly disconnected. If they call again I will contact IT -- to get them to block the number.
They are on the East Coast.. I'm on the West. They always call between 5am and 6am!! OMG seriously. The voice mail today was just a bunch of background noise and 150 other people talking in the back ground. Very annoying! If someone's calling me at 5am. .. you better be on fire and in the emergency room! STOP CALLING!
They've called a couple times recently, and today it was a woman with an Indian accent asking for someone who no longer works here. When I told her that she asked for "anyone in the marketing department" and I said we're not interested and hung up. I'm adding this number to our blocked list.
