Also received the same letter claiming that I had won a pair of return tickets worth $1,400. I called the number just for laughts. A distinguished voice answered the call claiming that they were a a travel awards company representing Bintley Travel in Parsippany. All I had to do was attend a brief seminar conducted by Bintley travel and was not obligated to purchase/buy anything. When you google the travel company, no such company exists.
Some kind of Scam in the making!
I also received the same letter...postmarked in Phonix, hand addressed...etc, etc. Isn't it nice to know you can search the net, and check anything out. Not that I usually respond to ANYTHING that says "congratulations, you've just won", but the hand addressed envelope(no return address), just plain gave me the creeps. That alone, made me check it out.
I am pissed...I feel violated that some jerk penned my name to paper...REALLY PISSED OFF!!!
Thanks everyone, for validating my antenna!
Same as the rest...handwritten address, no return address, 42 cent stamp, personal signature. I doubt they really attempted to call me ...I have caller ID and nothing close to that ever appeared. I too checked website, how can they do business with anyone they don't give any info? Not going to bother.
