It's a scam. They wanted to lower my credit card interst rate but couldn't tell me what card. When I asked, they said, "Any of them." I asked who they represent and she said, "Visa and Mastercard" If she represented those companies she should know what cards I have, which I said to her. Then she hung up. DON'T GIVE ANY INFO to these people! It's a SCAM.
I have received several calls from 1-305-000-2868. A person indicates that you can get a lower rate on your credit card if you push 9. When you begin to hear the male voice, and the approach, you know that this is a scam. When you ask what company they represent, or an account number, they hang up.
What I don't understand is why all of us report the same phone scam, yet the Better Business Bureau working with the phone companies should know who is doing this.
Can our governmemt be so stupid to allow these scam pigs to obtain information and thus use your credit card.
I've been getting at least 2 calls a day from 305-000-2868 for about a week now. Caller ID says Florida. I don't pick up and there is no message. I'm also on the Do-Not_Call list.
