Cardholder Services offering to negotiate with current credit card companies to lower interest rates. They charge a fee. I had previously (6 weeks ago) told this company to add my # to their do-not-call list.
Just got a call from 1-305-000-8537 too. The caller would not actually give his company name, but claimed he was working for Visa/MasterCard. I doubted this. I told them they were in violation of the do not call list. The guy claimed they were not selling anything and I doubted that too. He asked about accounts and balances as if I would tell an unidentified company anything about my finances. The guy on the line was rude and told me he was going to rescind my offer for the next seven months and hung up before I was able to tell him, I never wanted to be called from his company again. Visa/MasterCard ought to find out find out who these folks and shut them down. If they are not a fraud, they are still representing themselves as Visa/MasterCard and violating the do not call list.
