Just got one a few seconds ago ... while the phone was ringing I googled the number to find this site ... thanks! Figured if it was legit I could call them back or they would leave a message.
I answer the call and it's says its card Services. So i hit 9 to speak to a person. He says I am able to lower my interest rates. So I ask well what card company are you with? He then says he represents " I forget his exact words" and I say I am on a do not call list. He says No your not I wouldn't be able to all you. so I say back - Your going to tell me I'm not on a do not call list? I want to be added to yours then. He quickly hangs up!
Nice to know about the "555" in addition to the "000" prefix. They are all spoofing scams that our governments, federal and state, are not able, or do not want, to do anything about. Additional numbers are 407-000-1515, 407-000-9876, 305-000-7989, and 305-000-7854.

Got the call today at 4:37 p.m EST. Wasn't going to answer it, but saw the 000 and decided to tell them off.They have called before with a different number,but the 000 let me know who they were! OF COURSE it's Credit Card Services to lower your interest rate! I pressed 9 and when the guy answered, told him I was tired of their calls,was on the Do Not Call list and to stop calling me! Then I hung up.
I can't believe these people can't be stopped or found! What a nuisance and a waste of time. And I am really concerned about the people that fall for their scam. They are just pure EVIL and need to dealt with to the fullest extent of the law!!!!!
