they call at least once a week sometimes more. They only say they are from card services I don't have any credit cards so not sure why they are calling me.
I received a similar call with an initial recorded message saying I needed to call immediately regarding my credit card accounts. I was told to press 9 to reach a representative. I did. The woman said she was with "Account Services", and when I insisted for the company name and phone number, she hung up.
As I am on the Colorado and National do not call lists and have been for years, the call was a clear violation of the law. I reported the call to the state attorney generals office at http://www.coloradonocall.com/. While they don't go after every telemarketer, they have gone after more active telemarketers. Note, in Colorado, you can go after these people individually if you have the time and inclination.
I just received a call from this number too. I asked them who they were looking for, what cards, and the person hung up before I could tell them that I'm on the no-call list. Since I live in Colorado, I'm going to go ahead and use the above information from Bill to report it.
I just got the call and also pressed 9 in rang and rang then a man answered and said he was with card services and asked if I had $5,000 in credit card debt. I said no and he replied rudely "Good for you" then hung up
Calls from this # come in m-f between 3:30pm-6:30pm I look at caller ID before I pick up. if it states unknown name or unknown caller or ID # not known where it is blank. I do not answer it and let the answering machine gives message, do not except blocked calls.
