Got a call from this number just now. I don't know why, I guess I'm too trusting, but I told the woman (when she asked) that I had two credit cards with a certain company and that one had a limit over 3000. What possible good could it do them to know that with no other info? She also got out of me my last name and phone number. Then she said, hold on and the line went dead. So did she get anything useful out of me? I don't know, but I will wait for the subsequent calls and put holds on my cards.
Called and indentified themselves as Card Services.telling me I could get my credit card interest lowered. I have no credit cards and when I got a person on the line and told them I was on the National and State NO CALL list, they abruptly hung up.
