Who called from 30505001

I have received SMS (text) messages on my Fido cell from that number. I only started getting such messages within the last week. I occasionally also receive SMS messages from 30505002 and 30505003.

I don't know if this is a Fido thing or Google because I also have email auto-forwarded to my cell as a [email protected] address where 0000000000 represents my cell phone number.

Whoever is responsible for this, it is quite annoying because I don't have the time to bother typing "Read" to get my messages. In addition, all inbound SMS messages are free, but I am limited to 50 outbound texting ... So having to send 1 message to get a message is going to cost me! >:-(

if you want to stop it, just text Unsubscribe to 3436

This is Fido email to text service.
You get an email at <your fido #>@fido.ca and it generates a text to your phone.
To stop, reply "unsubscribe" without the quotes.
As of today, you can also reply "stop".

I too get roughly 5 to 7 per day, and this is from one or two per day as of April 2009.

They refuse to cease and desist and has resulted in numerous calls to FIDO to get them to stop.

Somebody or a number of somebodies has recently discovered this HOLE IN SMS SECURITY and is using it with a VENGEANCE to bug us unsuspecting FIDO customers.

I would like a way to return this HUGE FAVOUR to me in the form waking them up in the middle of my sleep period (12:00 am to 6:00 am) until they stop this untoward behaviour.

Any suggestions?
