Left a message saying there is a legal "matter" pending to be filed against me and I need to contact "Richard Blackburn" at 309-278-1829. There is no legal action, I know this is a scam. They are now using my area code (305) but asking me to call a number in another state. I'm blocking this number!

They've been calling me from this number, when I answered, they asked if my name was that one and they gave me my last 4 digits of my social then they said there's a debt that I have with Bank of America for more than 5K. I told them that I didn't know what they were talking about and asked them for an account number, they didn't provide one and the guy on the phone got a nasty attitude and said he sent the Sheriff the other night to knock on my door and he will send him again and I stopped the call. After I hung up I remember that 3 nights before, at 10:30 pm, someone was knocking at my door, but it was a civil person (not a Sheriff) and I didn't open. Also, after the call I contacted Bank of America and told them of the situation, they reviewed their system and there was nothing open under my name. This situation is really bothering me, I will contact the local PD.
I got a message saying there is a legal action against me within 24 hrs. They don't even mention my name or who are they calling. The message states they will get legal actions against me. The name to call back is Robert Base at a tottally different number thst they called me. Called back and the hsng up twic. I think this is a scam.
