Scam phone call for item to be sold on eBay. Caller wants to issue a 'Certified Bank check' which may clear if the bank say it will, but if the payee does not honor the alleged phony check, the bank will withdraw it from an existing account (mine). Probably the tip off was when the caller said he was out of town in the Military, and would have his agent pick up the item after the check clears. Sounds to good to be true doesn't it? Well, it isn't.
