I was getting these phone calls at my old address and I never picked up. I have moved and getting the same phone calls to my new phone number. They never leave a message. I have blocked their calls.
Called asking to speak to owner of company. When I asked who was calling the guy said he was from GMC Financial. Told him we weren't interested. He went into his spiel and told me he could only speak to the owner. Pakistani or Indian accent. I told him he would need to call right back so I could get him on a phone that allows me to transfer and I blocked the number before he could call.
There is something so satisfying about watching the "Blocked" come up in our call logs as they call back repeatedly. Ah, the little things.
First Guy Said They Were GMC Financial Something And Said That My Business Was Pre-Qualified For A Loan At 0% Interest... They Asked What My Monthly Gross Credit Card Receipts Was And Was It Over $ 10,000 And Then Wanted To Send Me An Application At Which I Just Wasn't Interested Anymore - (I'm Not Switching CC Processing Companies) - I Asked If They Took Their Payments Out Of Credit Card Receipts And He Said "No" - Looking Them Up Online, It looks Like They Do, And At A HIGH Rate, So No....
The First Guy Transferred Me To Someone Else Who Said Their Company Name Was Rapid Capital Funding, LLC And Continued To Convince Me To Apply..... I Asked Him Why I Had To Apply If I Was Already Approved... He Said He Wouldn't Waste Time If I Wasn't Approved Else "How Would He Get Paid?".... I Asked Him How He'd Get Paid Indeed With 0% Interest - And He Said It Wasn't 0%.....
While We Talked (More While He Talked) I Looked Them Up - I Asked Him About All The Complaints And Ripoff Reports I Found, He Replied, They're A Big Company And That's Not A Lot Of Complaints For Me To Check Their A+ Better Business Bureau Rating (Which I Don't Put ANY Faith In The BBB) - Yes A+ But 21 Complaints... The Guy Got Tired Of Me And Just Hung Up......
Seams Like Too Much Lies, Misconceptions And Double Talk For Me To Take A Chance On These People......
This guy is a f*cking jerk. Asked for the owner, then hung up on me. I called him back, asked to be put on the do not call list, he said "I love that". F*cking D*ck.
Lady with Pakistani accent Called asking to speak with a lady named Cheryl D-----. I told her that Cheryl hasn't worked here since 2009.She then asked to speak with the owner...I told her the owner doesn't work in this office and I asked if there was something I could help her with. She said it was in regards to a personal financial business issue. I kept telling her that the owners weren't here and she kept asking for the owner or Cheryl. I told her to remove this number from their list. She hung up on me. We get calls like this on a daily basis at my place of business even though I put our name/number on the DO NOT CALL list. I am beginning to wonder if such a "list" exists....tired of these calls! I am trying to run a business here.
They said they are calling from the "landis office" or something but they are GMC Financial calling to say they can offer a low interest business loan.
They got my number from a company I was previously involved with.
