I got a call several times this week, offering to lower the interest rate on my credit cards (I have no credit cards). The prerecorded message said press one to speak to someone but two to be removed. 2 doesn't work, so I pressed one and the woman who answered (eventually) had no idea what number I was calling from. I told her I was on the do not call list and asked her to remove me. She asked what number I was calling from, so I replied "you called me and you don't know what number? I am on the do not call list, do I have to make a complaint?" She hung up on me.
I used caller ID and did a search and found this site after I registred my complaint on the Do Not Call list site.
I also received a call from that number at 4:03PM today. I did not answer and like the rest of you, they did not leave a message. I'm in Wilmington, NC. I am supposed to be on the do-not-call-list.

I did, so that I could find out who it was because I too am on the do not call list. When the women answered she axed me if my balance was over $3500. When I asked where she be calling from of course she hung up. I have since called the police in Perrine and as of this writing they have not been able or are not willing to help. Told me to call the local police here in Chicago. Right like that's going to help.

I did leave a message for a sargent to call me back as well as tried the Economic fraud deptartment at305 994 1000 but it was after 5 so maybe they will call back or i will try them tomorrow.
