I got this call last night. It is a scam call asking for donations to Rubios campaign. They know little about politics and are phonies. I never give my credit card # over the phone unless I make the call to valid charity, etc. Thank God this time because I was fooled until googling and then calling the #.
Good advice John. You need to listen to Gompers. Don't answer the phone when you don't recognize the number or name. And don't use your real name on a forum. Any forum.

my husband was stupid enough to donate $30.00 from his hard earned veteran's disability check. They call every morning even though we tell them not to call.
I disagree with the person above about not answering your phone! I pay the darned bill and should be able to answer the phone anytime that I want.I could see not answering if it were a mass murderer or some nut. But these people have their right mind and should be respectful of our wishes. I wish that polititians showed this much vigour when they are in office.
