Hello.. I got the same call today. the guy had a deep accent and said he was sr officer david brown and said i had commited internet fraud and something about my social security number fraud. and that he was going to send 3 police officers to my house to arerst me. even had my addy. That is scary!!!!
They called me and had a lot of my info, that might be because I applied for a credit thing online a while ago, but they tried to say that I was owing 810 because on sept 30 of 2007 they put money into my bank account 350 advance loan (when in cali you can only get 255) well they said I was going to jail, they were going to call my work and put all my refrences in jail...at that point I knew it was a scam, if these people call you do not fall for it.
A man with a thick accent also called me from this number claiming I had a payday loan that I never applied for and owed 911.00 and if I did not pay he would have me arrested on fraud and check deception, also called my mom and told her the same thing! He is posing as a police officer named Stuart McGill! I later found out the number is out of Miami Fl, and the compnay is supposed to be called All American Services based out of Texas! i dont know what they are trying to do but it is very agravating!
I had the same thing happen to me, from the same number stating the very exact things he had said to you! Had alot of my info as well very scarey indeed! I took my call to the police and we did find it out it is a big scam,I dont know how these people get all of this info but he had me scared to death! Even thoug in my heart I knew I hadnt applied for an internet payday loan I was still scared! So yes people dont fall for it just keep filing complants on this and maybe these moroons will close down shop!
This guy called me to and said the very same thing. He also called me from a few other phone numbers one was 12147235573. He is also going by David Brown, Danny Lopez, and Seargent Jackson. This is a huge scam I have also contacted the Secret Service along with my local police and attorny general. I was advised to flag all of my info to be watched for fraud!
