This number called me on my cell phone 3 times in a row (as in called me 3 times within 2 min.)! Finally I answered on the 3rd call. I could hear the background noise was you typical call center. They lady on the other end asked for Mary, I told her she had the wrong number. She apologized and asked if anyone in my family was going to be attending college soon. I said no, she apologized again and said have a nice day. She was polite but I was annoyed by the interruption, especially calling my phone until I picked up. Doing that makes you think someone on the other end really wants to talk to you, like it may be something urgent. I didn't like that, I should have called her out on it.
From reading the above posts, it appears this number is from a call center. They only called once but I really hate receiving phone calls from unknown numbers so I blocked this number. In addition, I only answer my phone when it is a number I recognize so I don't know the nature of this phone call.
