This call from "Florida" has been going on for a few years. Sometimes it says Credit Card Services. We are on the national do not call list and have caller ID. We have also asked to be taken off the call list. Why can't this number be shut down? Why is someone not investigating this matter? As much as we pay for phone service it is ridiculous we have to put up with this.
The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!
If you are coming to this site, you must at least "suspect" that there is a possibility of fraudulent use of this spoofed (faked) number. It is another one of those used by the card service scammers, to attain our credit card numbers, by trying to make us believe they "are" our credit card company. Don't fall for this scam, which has been going on for years, and most importantly, let others, know of this, before they are cheated. ANY calls, offering to help us lower our interest rates on credit cards, are simply a scam.
I received a call a few minutes ago. I pressed zero so I can request them to take tme off their calling list and I am on the National No Call List. He said you don't want to lower your interest rates? I said I don't have a card and I will report them if they won't take me off of their list. He said who are you going to report this to? I said the government. He said who cares and hung up on me! His accent leads me to believe he is working from another country and has no clue!
They must be hungry today. They've just called here in MD. I did not pick up. I have a caller ID. If I don't know the number I don't pick up. Caller ID shows "Florida."
