Blocking of calls is accomplished either through your service provider, the telephone instrument itself, or an external device which is connected to the line. Start out by asking your service provider if they offer blocking, if they do not, you may need a telephone which has this option or a call blocking device. As mentioned previously, blocking of entire area codes is best, as the scammers change their numbers frequently!

I usually re register my phone numbers...cell and land line...with the do not call list, only get stupid calls once in a blue moon. I've heard it's recommended every 3 months so that's what I try do.

I received a call from this number also.It said Florida I blocked the number.THE DO NOT CALL IS JUST GOOD FOR 3 OR 4 YEARS.BETTER CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE STILL ON IT.I HAD TO RE DO MINE A FEW DAYS AGO BECAUSE I THOUGHT I WAS STILL ON IT BUT JUST GOOD FOR SO MANY YEARS

Obviously, you have not checked lately.
The DNC list is now good "forever", unless one changes phone numbers
