Outright criminals, such as the card service scammers, and other lowlife, do not obey the do not call list. When we are on the not not call list, and still receive marketing calls, it must be recognized that the callers do not represent a legitimate business.
OMG! My husband was caught at a very vulnerable moment and fell for it. Luckily, just after he hung up from giving the card info, we contacted the fraud unit of the police and the credit card agencies and cancelled the card! These people claimed to be an arm of Experian and we qualified for a reduction in interest rates. They even had the nerve to send a packet with videos and booklets. Then today, the same "voice" called and said a warrant has been issued for my husband's arrest... They also called from another number and claimed to be from the IRS. This is just ridiculous! BEWARE!!!
