On August 14, 2013 at 2:09 pm I received a call from 305-368-8707. I did not answer and the caller did not leave a message. My caller ID said only "Florida." I suspect it was a telemarketing call because telemarketers seldom leave messages and the caller ID they use tells me nothing. The 305 area code is from the Miami area.
I received a call from them and asked me to press 9, so I did. I have asked to not be called numerously, but out of 59 caller ids, 23 were from this number. When they came on, I gave them a blast from a portable boat's air horn, then hung up. They called me back!!!! I didn't answer, but they left a message that would make a sailor blush on my answering machine. OOPS!! This prompted me to file a criminal complaint with my local police department. I have the caller's ID, his actual phone number and the police has all that information. Gonna see what happens now.

I have had no fewer than 20 calls from Credit Card Services with an important message. I have only 1 credit card in my name, and they would contact me directly if they needed to get in touch with me. Most of these calls are robo-calls. I am reaching the point that if I don't recognize the number, I don't answer. I'm on the no-call list, but it doesn't seem to do any good at all. This caller and one for a medic alert pendant are the most persistent. They use different numbers, so they get me once in a while, but as soon as I hear even a part of the message, I hang up. I keep hoping they will eventually get the message that I am not interested. You can't discourage a robo-call. This is so annoying. Once in a while I'm able to get an afternoon nap, or be relaxing, and they call!!!!
