Yep, it is a a scam, run by the drug addicted card service scammers. You shouldn't think anything is weird or unexpected, when you're speaking to a person who is trying to make money for their habit, when they're desperate and high.
Caller ID said FLORIDA. I did not answer and it disconnected before the answering machine picked up. As a matter of policy, we never answer any more if we do not know the caller or recognize the number. $10/mo is a bargain to avoid unsolicited calls.
The caller wanted to get me a lower interest rate on a credit card account. However, the person I spoke with could not give me the account for which they offered to lower my rate, The female ended the call with comment "Have a nice day, although you don"t deserve it. Just a weird call, probably trying some sort of scam.
Another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services" scammers in their attempts to cheat us. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!

"Whoever they are" are the drug- addicted "card services" scammers, who try to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers by pretending to be associated with our credit card companies. These lowlifes work on a commission trying to rip people off in order to pay for their disgusting addictions. They prey mainly on the elderly and the gullible. Beware of these creatures, and warn others before they are cheated!
