Robocall from 'Lisa' regarding my credit card balance. When I hung up it immediately called me back and then disconnected. I have been on the DNC list as soon as it was available, and several times I have reapplied. I don't see that it does any good. I know the best way to handle unknown calls is to not answer, but having the phone ringing frequently for this crap is really annoying. Maybe if politicians had to answer their own phones we would see a solution.
The DNC Registry is a permanent list. Once signed, always signed until your number is changed or you opt out. Your caller is a scammer. Scammers do not purchase the FTC list nor would they abide by it if they did. So, you are correct. It does no good.
This "FLORIDA" number has been hitting me for a long time, it stopped for a while. It started back up on Monday, again a few hours ago. Scum of the earth.
I can yap about the DNC all I want, but many - not all of them - but most of these annoyances are from overseas, mocking a US phone number.
