Received a call from this number 2/6/13 @ 3:43 PM. The caller had an Indian-sounding accent and told me he could lower the interest rate on my credit card to 6% if I would tell him which card I wanted to lower, the Visa or the MC. I told him I wanted all of my credit card rates lowered and he said I had to tell him which one to do first. Obviously, since he was being vague I didn't offer any information. We went back and forth like this until I asked for an English-speaking person and he said I had to talk to him. Then I asked for his supervisor and he ignored me and went back to asking me which card I want lowered. I asked him over and over and over to transfer me to his supervisor until he got so frustrated he told me to go to hell. He also asked me to put my husband on the phone which really put me over the edge. Maybe in his country women aren't allowed to make decisions, but not here, buddy. He got more tense and started pushing phone buttons to get me to hang up while I kept repeating to put a supervisor on the phone. I did tell him he was breaking several laws with this one phone call. He finally hung up on me.
Phone rang @ 10:50AM, just now....close enough to see caller ID & wiated to see who it was.......only rang twice---------beyond stupid, unless you're right by the phone who can answer in 2 rings???? STUPID telemarketers!!!! I'm on the do NOT call list!! 2 rings is all I need for caller ID to get it, said Florida call & as I know NO one in Florida would've let it ring but they hung up on 2nd ring. If they call back.....will be reported!!!! Am on do NOT call list for reason. I do NOT do telemarketers or calls that when you answer say w/ tape, please hold........DUH they call me & I should hold? Don't think so.
