These scammers target seniors and propose a credit card with a very low interest rate. It's tragic that FTC and FCC living off our taxes cannot protect seniors from crooks.
Just called the better business bureau about this phone number, after my own experience with them today. Was informed it is officially a scam. I'm sure we were all thinking it, but now we have had it labeled as such.
My experience; Pushed 9 to speak to representative to be taken off the list. Told representative to take off the list. He said he was from Visa/MC. He was not monitored by the FCC, therefore we could report him for calling us even though we are asking him not to. He asked what bank we used. I wouldn't give him any info at all. He became increasingly more upset with me. Then he said "Go f*ck yourself, you crazy b*tch!" and hung up. I tried calling back but only received a busy signal.
