I just got the call and sent it to voicemail. Of course these types of calls don't leave you messages. With random digit dialing, it doesn't matter that you have an unlisted number or only gave the number to a few people. These scammers just program an area code and every single combination of numbers is going to get a call, there is nothing you can do to stop it. Being on the do not call list is not going to stop them from eventually calling you. Unless the government steps in with real penalties, this isn't going away soon. Don't answer from area codes that you don't know and call block if you can.
i just got a call from this number on my cell phone. I also got a call from this exact same number at 5:25pm today on my HOME landline which leads me to believe that some company that I am/have dealt with is selling my numbers to some telemarketing firm.
