We got called....but we screen our calls with call display...we only answer calls that display a caller's name and is either someone we know or a company with which we are currently doing business. If it was really important they would leave a message. If it had been Revenue Canada, know that they'd only contact you by snail mail and most likely registered mail. So have no fear!
Definitely the "Tax Fraud" Scam, we got 2 calls on our 2 different home numbers within 20 minutes of each other, same partial message to call that number. Revenue Canada and U.S. Internal Revenue only contact you via snail mail, and will NEVER threaten you over the phone, but scammers know that many people don't know this.
