We got called....but we screen our calls with call display...we only answer calls that display a caller's name and is either someone we know or a company with which we are currently doing business. If it was really important they would leave a message. If it had been Revenue Canada, know that they'd only contact you by snail mail and most likely registered mail. So have no fear!
This happened to me last year and my first thought was oh no, but first thing I did before calling them was to google and low and behold so many others had received same call. Last year my neighbour was here when I got my 20th call and she got on the phone and gave them a bit of hard time the guy finally told her to F--K OFF and hung up. Now just yesterday and today received call from the 305-396-2488 number so I checked online again and yep it is a scam... Not sure where you live but here in Canada if there was a problem with my account they would send letter or email me...... never send anyone money before going online and making sure it is not a scam. Sorry you got fooled...
March 27th ...twice the same message as listed above....so annoying.......glad we are paying Florida residents or illegals to handle Canada's tax collection...get a life people
